The New 'Coast' Series...

My busy week in the studio has allowed me to finish of my new 'Coast Inspired'
range of clay tag decorations & cushion covers...

Drawing on inspiration of walks along the beach & the calming sound of
waves gently breaking on the shore...

Heart shaped tags tied with paper twine & embellished with beads & shells...

The salty smell of the ocean, a quiet moment to gather your thoughts, catch
your breath & breath...

The chance to escape from your world & refresh yourself in nature...be it
winter or summer...

White vintage metis fabric becomes the perfect soft neutral and
co-ordinates with the earthy textures of burlap & jute ribbon.
Accent colours of dark blue, greys & taupe blend to creating a
calming effect reminiscent of seafoam, sand & ocean blues....

The enchanting lyrics of Charles Trenet's La Mer printed onto
French vintage metis linen and embellished with a burlap starfish...

I am really excited about this new range & would love to hear
your thoughts & feedback...

All items are available here - French & Sparrow

I'll be back next week with a simple card tutorial to share with you all

  4. I came across your blog via another and am so excited to see your bottles and your pillows. I just bought some bottles and was wondering what to do with them and I am looking for some ideas for some fun pillows. Thanks.
