Playing With Burlap

Here is a peak at one of the new cushion cover designs I have been working on...

(in between my walk-in-pantry remodel., which hopefully will be finished next week!)

Combining the beautiful grey & flax linen toile with the rustic elegance of burlap, that was very popular

with my Christmas stockings last year.

I have also added a hand-embroidered cross stitch monogram in soft grey.

I am really pleased at the soft yet elegant design of this cover. It

would be at home in a variety of decorating styles - French, Scandinavian, 

Farmhouse, Shabby....

 

I've been slowly editing all of the cushions in our home. 

I've been replacing the patterns & colours for more soft & simple designs.

Paring down and simplifying - creating a more relaxed space to live.
