My Morning Walks

Towards the end of my morning walk I pass through this delightful tree lined

avenue. Hard to describe in words how luxuriant the greenery is this year. An

abundance of spring rain has ensured lush new growth on the beautiful oak trees.

This is where I slow down, take some deep breaths and admire the beauty

around me. The dappled sunlight through the trees, the crunch of leaves and

gravel under my feet. It's my 'quiet' moment......time to reflect and clear my

mind in preparation for the day ahead.

 Lily our Labradoodle loves this part of our walk too!

Brocante Find

Do you ever find yourself browsing through a store with a particular goal in mind,

only to come out having purchased something completely different?

While rummaging though the fantastic brocante & flea market finds of Izzy & Popo

(a store you must visit if you live near Melbourne), I couldn't resist this old wooden

industrial mould.  Perfect for a spring display of white flowers.

Izzy & Popo import 3-4 container loads of European brocante & furniture to

Australia each year. Well worth a visit if you can or spend a while looking through

the extensive items on their website.
