Hello everyone, I hope you are having a lovely week!
I thought I would share with you some late winter blooms from my garden.
Hellebores (Winter Roses) & Daphne are among my favourite flowers!
Hellebores grow in semi-shaded spots in the garden and are ideal planted in drifts
in a woodland setting. They self-seed prolifically and if you are very patient, after
a few years you will have a romatic display amongst your winter garden.
They come in a beautiful colour range.....my favourites would be the pale
creams & dark aubergine purples.
However as pretty and romantic as hellebores are, they lack any fragrance......
and that is where the sweet, heady, fragrance of daphne comes along.
For such a petite flower, it's beautiful scent is divine.....
I couldn't resist filling this vintage tin laundry pitcher with a bouquet
of these gorgeous flowers.
